I just received 1:48 CZ-2F Long March rocket ( found on ebay). Looks to be an easy to build kit. It is definately big (50+ inches) looks like it will be an easy build, but the decals are also big!

The Dragon model is the one that you are describing. The one showing it lifting off is a Shanghi Dragon (made in china) version.

Yes, it's a 1.48 and you need a good two cans gloss white spray paint to cover it! I think it's a Dragon.

Hey, thanks guys! The Dragon model seems a bit larger than i was looking for, is the real space 1/144? This scale would go better with my 1/144 scale collection of Soyuz launch veh. I guess i'll wait for its release.

And Dragon makes an enormous and rather cheap kit which is fairly accurate and fun to build and display. Check ebay's space models section daily, you can get it for 10 bucks.

It's, I believe 1/48 scale and stands about four feet tall. Search among keywords "Dragon 1/48 Chang Zheng CZ-2F “Long March” Rocket"

Real Space Models announced they are going to be releasing a 1/144 Shenzhu booster and payload soon. (As opposed to real soon now).

Does any body know if they make a long march L/V with a shenzhu payload? I thought I saw one once, in possibly a 1/125 or larger scale, either by dragon or trumpeter.Sleepy [|)]
