Sorry made a mistake in reply..
don't follow the instructions too closely. the colouring instructions particularly are wrong.
the command module should be chrome silver. to simulate this, remove the erroneous gold layer with a wipe of nail varnish remover (solvent). do not rub. clean the chrome c.m. using alcohol or washing up liquid. spray interior of c.m. gull-grey (Quite a light grey). forget the horrendous chrome-green stickers. spray the insruments panel mid-grey. seat headrests should be white. Service module should be tamiya silver leaf. spray forward half of sps engine bell dull rough silver with hint of gold. spray heat exchanger at base of service module chrome silver first, then chrome gold on top (brings out the gold). spray rcs engine housings tamiya silver leaf. spray rcs (reaction control system) engine bells silver, then wash with very light coating of brass.
you may also experience some problems getting the commad module shell to meet the heatshield. carve away the top interior of the part where the parachutes are housed (sorry dont have instructions on me im doing this from memory) until the shell meets the base dont worry you wont see this in the end. drill holes using very sharp exacto knife at all points of rcs on the command module then paint red round them dont use the stickers..just a few tips...good luck..if you get into trouble, post me. cheers
