Maybe so.  I got an email from them last week announcing that they had started online ordering but haven't tried it out yet.  I always go to the store.  I did see that this week they dropped the 40% coupon down to only 25%.  Hardly worth the trip now.

I took a look at their website and it doesn't show the models.  Do they only sell the models in the store?

They have online ordering at Hobby Lobby now but I don't know if you can use the coupon online or not.

I'll also "second" that-

I picked mine [Revell Sat. V] up in Illinois [live in Central Florida these days] after drooling over the $119 one out at KSC...  Silly as it sounds, I've not seen a Hobby Lobby in Central Flo- hadn't really looked for one either! Blush [:I]- so if they're out there, it's definitely a way to get some on the cheap!  I also purchased the Atomic Mercury Capsule as well while I was up there!

Gotta love that Hobby Lobby!

Yes.  The 1/96 scale is often at Hobby Lobby.  That's where I got mine from.  At the time they were doing 50% off models a few times a year.  Now you get the 40% OFF coupon with their email flyer each week (most weeks anyway)  One coupon per visit so it's hard to stock up but for the 1/72 sub or an expensive Tamiya kit it's a good option.

Is that the Large Saturn V rocket model for $60?  I ask only becuase every time I go over to KSC, I keep eyballing that model and thinking, I'm taking it home with me some day.  There it's around $119 the other day when I was there.

You can pick up that Saturn V at Hobby Lobby for about $60 with the 40% coupon they publish every week (just about every week) if you're on their mailing list.

I still have it. Only did one or two of 'em, so the rest of the missles are still on the sprue.

I dont know about "space" subjects but I work parttime at the LHS and we got a flyer from Revell a little whyle ago stating that they are going to re-issue their 1/40 Nike Hurk. missile in 2008. The picture showed the original box art. Here's hoping the kit actually comes with it. Monogram is also supposed to re-issue the Viper, if you are interested in SiFi space. Don't hold your breath on that Saturn being $86. Last time it came out it was $96. I doubt it would be less a few years later unless there is less to the kit somehow.

I wonder what the chance would be of them reissuing the 1:144 Space Shuttle Launch Complex kit Whistling [:-^].

I have no problem finding them on Ebay, but prices of the ones with all sprues still sealed in the bag go over my head really really really quick (say $200+ USD) Sign - Dots [#dots].

I see in the Squadron catalog that they have reissued the LEM and Apollo spacecraft which has partial see-through.

The Revell kit is big, but that is about it.  The CSM is the Block 1 version which never flew and the interstages are very vaguely detailed.  The first and second stage engines are nice.

The second stage thrust structure isn't so good.

If you want a big model and don't mind the detail problems, go for it.

I'm also interested in Gemini.

Still have the instructions for my brother's build of it waaaaay back when it first came out.

I just picked up the Monogram 1:48 First Lunar Landing re-released through Stevens International.

I looked on the Tower Hobbies website and Stevens has re-issued the Revell 1:96 Saturn V and 1:32 CM/SM as well!  The Saturn V is expensive...$87 + S/H...but I think it's worth it.

From what I've seen of the Monogram offering in 1:144 scale (ebaying for around $40-$50), it has much less detail IMO.  What is the consensus of this crowd on the Revell (Stevens) vs. Monogram kits?

I would love to see a re-issue of the 1/48 Apollo kit that had the Command Module, Service Module, and the LEM inside its' housing. It was a BIG kit when built and stacked up.

With Revell reissuing the 1/113 scale B-47 Stratojet, is there any chance that they will reissue the 1/174 scale Boeing B-52 with North American X-15. Or has the molds for the kit destroyed or lost? I do hope that this can / will be reissued.

I might pick some space stuff up if they do.  I'm not a big fan of space/sci-fi, but I do have interest in building some of these subjects.

1/48 LM and 1/32 Apollo CSM.
LM should be reissued in April 2007 and Apollo in June 2007.
