I built the Revell kit back in the early 70's and it was a neat kit! Wish they would release it again.

Hi Allan,

Actually that was the Revell 1/48th stack.  Unfortunately they never made a 1/24th stack up.  Would be cool though.  Revell DID make a 32nd Command/Service module set and there is a 32nd resin LEM, but the LEM is NOT cheap.

Check out this link for more information on kits that were made: http://www.ninfinger.org/~sven/models/space_models.html#us_manned

Am I remembering this wrong?

I could swear I built a 1/24 scale finel stage of the Satern V booster with the Command Mod. and Lander tucked inside back in the seventies. It had swing down panels that revealed the LM and stood about 18 or 20 inches high. It was the entire finel stage sitting on a base.

I haven't seen this on ebay nor I have heard anyone else refer to this model.

Any thoughts?

Allan
