Has anyone built the new Revell 1/144 Space Shuttle and Booster?

As far as I know it is the same mold that Revll has re-released several times over the years. The shuttle is rather generic. It does not model into any specific configuration. Good choice on the tile decals and the resin engine bells. The kit bells are hiddious! I don't know if the decals are updated to current markings or not. But you could go through Real Space Models, they have some beautiful decals. If you want to do the Columbia, you will need the fin camera that is available through Meteor Productions. The kit did have some fit issues with the SRB's. You will need some filler there. Hope to see your progress on the kit.

 

Thanks.. Actually I really dont know about the old Revell kit, but this looks pretty snazzy!.. It comes with all the modern markings, and even alot of extra that the 1/200 Hasegawa kit lacks.. So much more detail, and the size is also nice.. Makes the Hasegawa look small...

I have also ordered the tile decal sheet and the aftermarket burner nozzles... So cant wait for those to arrive..
