1/6 Gemini Astronaut G4C suit colors

I'm getting ready to paint this 1/6 Gemini model of the astronaut spacewalking and was wondering if anyone might be able to offer suggestions on some colors for it. I have often seen it done as a white suit with blue belting straps. However it seems to me that silver would be more correct, and were the straps really blue? Also looking for colors of the emergency air pack worn on the chest, this appears to be white or gray. The helmet must be gloss white with several metal fittings. The sleeve collars at the wrist are red and the other blue, and the other round fittings on the lower torso seem to be red and the other blue. The propulsion gun and camera I'm pretty comfortable with. I have googled until I'm blue in the face and really can not find a good picture of the suit, but it does seem silver or a meal gray would be better than white for the suit................anyone out there build one of these, and if so what colors did you use?
