I was wondering if there was a Sky Lab model kit for sale any where? If anybody could let me know that would be fantastic.

In resin at 1/100th scale

Don't ever remember seeing an injection kit of one. Suppose if you are feeling brave, you could use a stage of either the Revell 1/96th or Airfix 1/144th Scale Saturn V's as a starting point & scratch build the rest .

It would be a long shot if you could find a copy of the Vista kit. This company went on an extended holiday with a lot of people's money and never delivered many kits. A few copies of the kit managed to get delivered but the kit is rather rare.

Another Skylab kit that was released came from Marcos Miniatures. I had a copy, but sold it as I felt the quality was not very good. Several companies have mentioned that they plan on releasing a good quality Skylab in the future, but this is still "vaporware".

Cool! That's a fantastic reason to build a Skylab! The company most likely to realise a SkyLab kit is Real Space Models. Here's a link to their page where they mention this in their future release schedule.

Keep in mind, though, that this has been on their list for several years! However, the owner of Real Space Models keeps getting reminded by quite a few of us that this is an important kit to release. Big Smile [:D]

Have fun and good luck with your project!

I seem to recall that FineScale Modeler featured an article about how to build a Skylab from the Revell Saturn V kit's third stage.  This probably came out about 10 years or so ago.  Check the index on the website to see which issue the article appeared in.

The Marco Minature Skylab was one of the hardest kits I ever built. All the supports had to be replaced with brass rod.

Both Realspace and New Ware have looked into creating Skylabs. the problem is 1 G vs. O G. the real one had intricate supports that were fine fine scale in weightlessness. the problem is getting a thin support taht has enough strengnth to support the other parts of Skylab. Tom at New Ware is still trying.
