long and slender would be my choice. if its gonna go fast, you don't need very large fins. a C engine with the longest thrust and a body tube to accomodate that would be good.

Just build the smallest one you can that will take a D engine, or an extremely light one with a B6-4

Do you want a real flying rocket? Get it or find someone who has RockSim8. This software will get you off the ground with a stable design. It also has literally thousands of factory parts from all major manufacturers in the database. Go to Apogee Rockets website and download the trial version. It's good for thirty days and is a ball to play with. If you don't want a flyer this will at least give you an idea what a real rocket should look like. A StarWarsTrekLostInX-Files contraption may be cool looking, but it won't travel in our Earth's atmosphere.

HEY everyone, im tring to know how to make a fast design for a rocket.....I need it for a contest in school and i dont know what to do so can u help me out and send your opions.
