Another option might be to download the "paper" model of Pioneer 10 from the NASA site http://solarsystem.nasa.gov/kids/papermodels.cfm and use the "parts" as templates for making it in plastic.

I would really like to scratchbuilt a spacecraft like the old Pionner 10 or 11 or maybe Voyager 1.  Do you guys know where I could have descent blueprints or scale drawings of some sort?
