This is the Revell 1/144 stack put out a few years ago ... quite a few years ago, as a matter of fact.
The 'white' thermal tiles are household aluminum foil, painted and adhered with foil adhesive and the 'black' tiles are also painted aluminum foil. Cutting Edge tile decals were used for the belly of the Orbiter as well as their Engine bells. I 'weathered' it with pastels.
I also scratch built the one of the Fuel Line umbilicals on the bottom of the Orbiter and a few details were added to the ET.
