Look what I found!

My crew was called out to an abandoned garage because the previous owner left alot of nasty chemicals behind. While searching this pig-pen I found:

Mfg. in 1969. Monogram US Space Missiles kit. 36 missile collection. Contains a display stand, Booklet "Know the Missiles", Instruction sheet, Flyer for other Monogram kits, and partially assembled rockets. I still havent inspected the kit to see if the parts are complete. Everything including the box and booklets are in excellent condition. I'll get some pics up ASAP.

Yep. I work for a private contractor in northern California. Money is good but the hours suck!

Is this it?

I had this exact kit when I was about 16. Awesome kit. The rockets are pretty small. The one the kid is holding would be one of the larger ones. I assembled all the rockets but never got around to painting them.

I built that, "back in the day". I wish I still had it, it was lost in a move.

Back then I didn't have the intarwebs to research and I had to go to this big building downtown where they had all these things called "books". I think they named the place "library" or something like that!

Sorry about the fuzzy pic, it's a scan of a matt finished print.

I didn't like the plastic base so I made one out of a hunk of mahogany and used rub-on letters to make all the legends.
