best method to do washes
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, February 24, 2003 12:13 AM
I painted some interior bomber parts zinc chromate green, and then thought I would do a wash to highlight panel lines, etc. (oh, I used model master water based paint). I did a was with a slightly darker green water based paint, and it turned out horribly...water spots and spoches everywhere...where did I make the mistake? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Need to add a drop or two of washing-up liquid and a bit of white vinegar to your paint/water mix. It will make a big difference!
