This was covered in FSM "Tips" several years ago. I am going through my back issues trying to find it. I have gone back three years and no luck yet.

If I remember, you have to soak the tire in something to release the oils in the tire prior to putting the decals on. I'll post as soon as I find it.

HEY,
I have had the same problem. Any answers would be appreciated.

You should try this in the Auto Forum... More chances of having an answer. I'bve only built a few cars and none had such decals although I've had to paint some names with white paint onto one of those models tyres (the name was molded in!)

Hi,

I am wonder what you all are using to keep your decals sealed on your car or motorbike rubber wheels.

My decals on the rubber will start to peel off after a bit.
