new info on weld lines and rivets
Posted by Gimp on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 7:45 PM

Hi Everyone

I was reading a few treads on how to make weld lines and they all seam to turn out very nice.  I have been using Aber weld lines for years. I've heard roomers you couldn't get them anymore but I haven't had any trouble ordering them online.

I found another product offered by Archer that i thought was interesting so i gave it a try. They sell a flexible resin weld line on decal paper, They come in a variaty of sizes and they go on just like decals. They have straight welds good welds tack welds rough weld lines and they also sell Rivets made the same way.

The greatest part about them is the fact they are cheap and look very realistic when detail painted. I tried to insert an image of their products but I haven't figured out how to yet

here is their web address give them a try you may agree with me.

I hope i help some of you
