After reading this article several times in the past I decided to try out the Castrol Super Clean.

This stuff is indeed as amazing as the article says! [:0]
I have an old 1:48 A-4 Skyhawk wing that I have had for years and use as a test piece for painting on and I tried that out. This wing probably has 5 or 6 coats of MM enamels, Floquil lacquers, and MM acrylics sprayed on it, so I put enough Castrol Super Clean in an old plastic margarine container to submerge most of one half of the wing. I left the wing in there for 90 minutes and went out in the garage to check on it. To my surprise the paint was wrinkled as if you had sprayed Jasco paint remover on it. Wow! [:0]
I figure that after about 4 or 5 hours I could probably put on some rubber gloves, and eye protection and scrub the paint right off with an old toothbrush.
I am still watching to see how it does but so far I am amazed at the ability of this stuff to remove paint. It is much faster than Easy-Off and cheap too.
I bought the smaller 32 oz spray bottle at Kragen Auto for $3.79, and the gallon jug of it was only $7.99.

to be wise. Many men know a great deal, and are all the greater fools

how to use knowledge is to have wisdom. " Charles Spurgeon
