Hmmm...a water filter, huh? I'll have to dig around for this, 'cos this is a GREAT idea.

I have the same problem, and couldn't figure a decent way to vent the fumes.

Here are a couple of articles I came across:

I just shot Ric Golding an e-mail (go to the source!)...I'll post if I get a response.

I also plan on using two pre-filters in front of the vent fan......I looked through the Grainger cat. and found filters made specially for paint booths and I am also going to use a charcoal filter, however, I need to use the water filter for the fuimes.......I don't want to kill my bird.......I don't plan on spraying laquers...just enamel's and water based stuff.

Yeah....I saw that article.....unfortunately, it doesn't tell me what medium to use......gravel......charcoal......?????? I e-mailed the mag's asst editor twice for info and haven't received any responce.....this was like three and two weeks ago I submitted my e-mail to him. I am thinking they used charcoal, but somewhere I hear they used regular pea-gravel and/or fish tank gravel.......I am not sure which.

I think a recent issue of FSM or Scale Auto had a quick how-to on this? I can't recall which one it was though? Anyone remember?

Hey there......I am in the process of constructing a paint booth. I am interested in adding a "water filter" the the filtration system as I do not have the option of venting to the outside. I have seen it mentioned in a lot of magazines and I need to know how to construct one. Any assistance is appreciated.
