Making models

Those of you who have been in FSM for awhile have clicked on my attempts at showing all the possibilities of making models when you follow the method then derive your own techniques. My works are facsimiles and never scale. Early on in my craft I learned if it's close the clients is tickled. My pricing was below anything imported from the Philippines and believe it or not they have had the corner on the market since the 40's. So Once I have a good set of line drawings I fabricate all the parts and assemble them. As modelers we want to achieve the best possible results for our work time. So good reference photos are essential. I only use a few as the aim is to make a model that catches the eye but won't be missed if it hits the ground which wood does break but easily restored. I enjoyed this project as it made me a little money. Pilots of such an aircraft enjoy having one hanging or sitting on their desk.
