Regular CA sets faster than gel- should not take more than a couple of minutes.  You might try ordering CA accelerator online, as it does come in handy when you DO use the gel stuff.

I superglue one end of fishing line into a hole I made with a pin vice. Let it dry then pull it taught and superglue. Takes a little practice. Quick as sprue .

Biplane rigging
Posted by Thwaite on Sunday, February 15, 2015 6:12 PM

Just wandering if any genius has a recipe for ca glue accelorator. Nothing available where I live and am wanting to try my first biplane build.

Any advice would be hugely appreciated cos holding a piece of stretched sprue for 15 min every tine I want to  add some rigging would be umm...painful.

thanks all.
