Rivet Line Help
Posted by bpfish36 on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 9:25 PM

I am building an Me410 and my biggest problem is doing straight rivet lines. I guess I just don't have a steady hand. Does anybody have a foolproof way for scribing straight rivet lines?

I trace a line on the model with a pencil, following a small stainless ruler or dymo tape. I then remove the ruler or tape and guide the rivet tool along the pencil line. I seem to do better without a hard guide such as the ruler or the tape. All I need is the pencil line.

Personally I just use Tamiya tape as a guide. What method of riveting are you using?
