A neat trick when using putty!
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, March 11, 2004 11:49 AM
I was looking for somthing to apply putty with and chose a plastic shirt collar stay. These are the long, flexible and very thin plastic tabs that keep shirt collars straight (stays can also be brass or silver - don't use these). On better shirts, they come out and are replaceable. If you don't want to remove them, I believe they can be bought at fabric stores in many sizes. A cheap, disposable and easy solution.

Hey thanks! I've realized that using a disposable razor blade for applying squadron putty also works, but thanks!
