Thanks Terry

Tried Windex and the paint comes right off. Thank-you for the tip

Windex works very well, full strength. I drop in the part that after a few minutes use my fingers to get the easy stuff off then a very soft tooth brush for the stuff stuck in the corners. Works every time for me but ONLY for acrylics.

Thanks Don

Decided to sand the Blackhawk down and take it completely apart. I am excited to redo it, I was never happy with what I had built before.

Cheers

I have used Simply Green as a paint remover- it works okay.  There also is a Castrol product, an engine cleaner- forget its name- that works okay also.

Redoing a SOA MH-60K Blackhawk 1:48

Hello,

I am redoing a MH-60k Blackhawk because I didn't like the way it turned out.

I would like to get the clear plastic parts back to as new as I can. I would also like to prime and paint the rest of the parts for the helicopter.

Can you please suggest how to get the paint and glue off the clear parts and the paint off the rest of the plastic parts.

I was doing some research on some of the materials I could use and found the product "Simple Green".

I would like to hear some of your suggestions on products and techniques I could use to complete my Blackhawk

I have used and am using Tamiya Acrylic paints

Thank-you,
