glues?

I think this is a personal preference call.

My 2 cents is as time goes by I dislike working with CA more and more, and I tend to use it when I feel it's the best option.

Like Don, when I do use CA, it is often gel which I also find very useful.

For styrene, I use cements formulated for styrene.

For PE I mostly use Gator's Grip new thin blend (this is not the same Gator Grip sold at big box stores).

Gel CA is much slower setting than the regular, thin stuff.  It has two advantages.  First, it fills gaps, so parts do not have to fit perfectly.  Second, it sets slower so you can position the part(s) more carefully.  Once you get it just where you want the piece, application of CA accelerator sets it almost instantly.  So I use the gel stuff as my regular glue, but keep the thin, quick setting stuff for when I know the fit will make a good bond, and the part will be located accurately by pin or some other feature.

I mostly use Tamiya extra-thin and regular liquid cements.

I also like Faller Expert cement with the needle applicator.

Like Blacksheep, i have several on hand. I kep CA mainly for PE parts. For most of the time i use Plastic Weld.

I use a variety of glues - CA, liquid glue, canopy glue (for clear parts), and rarely used tube glue.
