Would one bother to mask tinted armoured windows before flat coating the vehicle?

yes,

otherwise you will be matting out the shiney see-through-ness of the window, unless you are going for a heavily frosted look?

If they are the clear ones, i normally mask before painting the vehicle, thats if i can't fit them later. If the solid ones, then i will paint after the rest of the vehicle is done.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

Seeing as I probably didn't get them as translucent as they probably should be,I figured it may not cloud them like it would a clear canopy. I bow to you two gentlemen's judgement. Thanks.
