Resin safety tips?
Posted by JMorgan on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 3:09 PM

I understand that resin-cast parts are pretty nasty to sand. That being said, am I safe to wet sand with a respirator and gloves?

Resin's biggest reputed hazard is the dust from sanding and cutting. The hazard being from inhalation. A mask of some sort is a good idea. Gloves are probably overkill.

Also, wet sanding does cut down on airborne dust, so as long as you dispose of sanding water and wipe material this would be a help.
