Thanks for the replies,

Think I will pick up some Acrylic XF-86 Flat Clear in the 10ml bottle from the hobby store.

Since future is acrylic i'd be very careful using laquer as it is agressive and can eat acrylic paints. Most people recommened several very light misting coats to avoid damaging the underlying paint but even then no guarenties.  Testing on a scrap part is a good indicator but there are many factors that could still cause problems once you move to the acutal model.

I use Tamiya acrylic flat from the 10ml pots over future wax and it works great but if you don't have an airbrush its not really an option.  I looked into testors dullcote as well and my fear of a ruined paintjob made me stick with acylic matt coats.

When in doubt, try it out...on a scrap piece of something, not on your model.

Should I apply Tamiya TS-80 Flat Clear

Hello,

I am completing an 1/72 A-6E Intruder from Hasegawa.

I have applied Pledge Future Floor care then I put on the decals.

From there I applied another coat of Pledge Future to seal in the decals

Now I want to take away some of the Shine.

Can I use Tamiya's TS-80 Flat Clear. Or could this cause some sort of chemical reaction

that would ruin the model.

Thanks
