Thanks will definitely keep an eye out next time.
Ye, that F-15 is an older one.
For futurereferance, look out for the pre coloured sets. They do one for both the Apache and F-15 you have. A lof of them now have a black PE part with instruments painted on that goes behind the instrument face.
This is FE 209 which would have gone with the Apache.

And EDFE 225 for the F-15.

These area mix of the older sets with a new coloured fret for the cockpit instruments.
Saves painting as well.
I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

Assuming thats also 48th scale, would that be 49225 for the Monogram kit
49201 is an older set, 2002. Actually, on thinking about it, i may have had a few papers ones when i was first useing PE. But now they use the clear plastic. Bit tricky to cut which is why i started gluing the IP on first and cut round that.
Did you know that the FE 201 is just a smaller version of the 49201.
FE 201 and 49201. The paper is rather thick as well not liking it very much.
Yes, that would work. Its just white glue. Should be ok on paper.
You might have an old PEset there rather than a new one, i have never come across Eduard sets with paper for the IP before.
Whats the number of the set.
Hello Bish,
I'm using the Eduard set, it came with a tiny little paper square with colored prints for the instrument panel parts.
The stuff I'm referring to is micro Krystal clear(dries clear for gluing clear parts.)
Hello,
Yes that is precisely what I mean.
Thanks
I have not seen any paperones, which brand are you useing.
Not sure about the crystal clear as not sure what that is.
Thanks,
They seem to have changed them to paper prints but sure the same process applies. Would crystal clear work as a good adhesive?
I take it your on about the acotate piece with the instrument dials printed on that goes behind the instrument panel.
I glue the panel onto the clear piece with white glue and then once set cut it out.
Hello all,
I'm wondering if anyone could help me out here. I'm working with photo etch for the first time and it comes with these prints, my question is how to attach these prints to the part . It's the instrument panel on the Apache and there is this tiny rectangle to place so do I trim to the exact size or do I leave tabs at the ends to attach it to the part . Any advice would be great .
