Air pressure
Posted by lito.sf on Monday, March 24, 2003 1:41 PM
Hi all,
I´ve seen interesting questions about the adequate air pressure for painting with airbrush, but is always used in psi, here in Portugal we use bar can anyone convert it?
how many psi equals to 1 bar?
thanks

Okay:

One pound per square inch (psi) = 0.0689476 Bars

One Bar = 14.5038 psi

From the Handbook of Chemistry and Physics (the BIGEST "handbook" in the world"

Doing this conversion on a daily basis. i Can say that naplak is right on this one
1psi = 0.0689476 Bar
1 bar = 14.5038 psi
you can get guages to read both pressures, that is what i did on my tank. Smile [:)]
