What I have learned is applying a thin layer of Future will cover up the stains on the decal.

I always do a search on reviews before buying products I'm unfamiliar with.

I used Mark Fit on my recent Tamiya 1/32 F-4 J project and two things I realized.

One, it left stains on the decal as it dried up. There are spots all over the surface of decal that is impossible to get rid of either with water or Microset.

Two, the gloss of the decal became flat matt. I am not sure if it is related to the surface that was pre-coated with Tamiya Flat Clear ( Matt ). The result might be different if the decal was on the flat glossy surface instead?
