What is the best glue for cementing Lexan?

I am building a display case for a recent build using 1/8" Clear Lexan. Is Weld On #4 the best adhesive or can you recomend another? I have found that Weld On takes forever to take hold. I know that super glue is a no no. What is the best way to apply Weld On? Maybe I am doing something wrong.

KarlK;

 I think what you need to do is go to a plastics supply source for the Glue . It's hot too ! Now this . If you are doing Butt Joints you better have the edges absolutely straight and level as to length and side to side .

  In other words a sharp clear Polished edge . If your edges arent polished the glue will not flow properly and you'll have bubbles in the finished joints ! I usually deal with TAP Plastics in California , But there are others . Watch it though . Some aren't as well educated on their products as they should be . Our Museum learned this the hard way !
