                        My "salted" Seahorse helicopter rotor worked out well. I just sanded it lightly with medium-grit sandpaper.

                        Put some elbow grease into it. Use a coarse wash cloth or towel and rub it. You want NO salt left at the end, so no reason to be "gentle".

                         

                         Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

                        Rub the kit where you applied the salt lightly dampaned cloth.

                        I tried the chipping with salt method and for the most part can't seem to brush the salt off.  In all of the YouTube videos it looks super easy to just brush off the salt after painting but in my case the salt is stuck on very well and won't brush off.

                        Has this happened to anyone before?
