                        hi all
                        i know, i know, i should have finished models covered or stashed away somewhere but i enjoy displaying them on shelves that get dusty from time to time. models are finished with future over decals and then a semi-gloss overcoat, so the coating should be safe.

                        any ideas are welcomed

                        You can safely dust them with a wide, soft brush. Some use a makeup brush. Blush [:I] For open cockpits, you can use a can of compressed air, such as what is used to clean electronics & computer keyboards.

                        I use my fan brush and my compressor. I recently bought an auto tack cloth from Wal-Mart. I haven't used it very much though, so if you get one you should test it out first on an old kit. It does pick up dust though! -Cheers

                        I use a can of compressed air, failing that - I use my AB with a real high pressure setting 50-60 psi
                        3d modelling is an option a true mental excercise in frusrtation

                        I have various attachments for my compressor. I suppose it depends on what type of compressor one has. I bought one that I'd be able to use for small household projects as well as airbrushing.Smile [:)]

                        Camera shops sell a lens cleaning brush that has a brush on one end and a rubber squeeze bulb on the other. Works particularly well in small areas.

                        i went to the dollar store and bought a make up brush...they have soft bristles and do a good job of "dusting" the models.
