Does anyone have a good technique for making gun barrels? Or any links to sites with some tips?

I use Karaya's 1/48 scale .50 cal. barrels - http://www.karaya.ceti.pl/eng/eng2.html. They are top notch. I would not recommend their resin bodies, unless they've improved the molds? I use the kit MG bodies and cut off the barrels.

As J-Hulk said, what kind of barrels are you interested in making?
For armour, I use a machining lathe at my dad's company to make 1/35 scale barrels out of aluminum stock.
As for aircraft barrels, I'm out on that one...

I just use very small aluminum tubing, i have a box full of these cheap mechanicl pencils, that i just take to metal tube out of the tip, and those make excelent gunbarrels expecially for 1/48 fighters
