Hey all, I'm having a problems coming up with the right color for tank treads. I either get too much silver or too much black. Anyone have a perfect fix?

Here's the methods that I use.

All Steel Tracks
- Base coat of gunmetal
- dry brush of rust
- dry brush of steel
- rub graphite powder over the entire track
- dust with pastel chalks with the rest of the tank

Tracks with Rubber Pads
- base coat of flat black
- paint all metal parts with gunmetal
- dry brush all metal parts with rust
- dry brush all metal parts with steel
- rub graphite powder on all metal parts
- dust entire track with pastel chalks with the rest of the tank.
