Water stains
Posted by wpwar11 on Saturday, November 12, 2022 4:13 PM

Hello all

While perfmorning light chipping on my current project, an Eduard Hellcat, I got water stains around the chipping area. I've used this technique several times and never seen this.  Chip color, 2 light coats off chipping fluid, then several light coats of top color (about 20% paint).   I used Tamiya acrylics with their acrylic thinner.  I waited about an hour and then used a wet brush to start the chipping process.  The paint chipped but I got these water mark stains.  Can this just be buffed out?  Or paint over them? Any ideas how to remove them?

Enjoy the weekend
