I am starting work on the Jolly Roger pirate ship and run into a few problems I hope I can get some suggestions for.
The two deck parts are bowed and need to be straightened. I tried to use very hot, (not boiling) water and that did not cut it. I was wondering if the boiling water is the way to go or is a heat gun better? Many spars are also warped but they are much smaller and more manageable, would you use the same technique on them?
I am sure this has been answered many time but when I searched it out it came up with many references to have to do it but I did not find any explanation of how.
