CRUD! I got glue on the windshield. Darned!

Hi!

Taint a problem really! let er dry well. Say a week. Then carefully remove it from the car or if it's not in place unwrap it and do this.  Take the largest FLAT chisel shaped blade and smooth down the button of glue. CAREFULLY,  Remove it with a little pressure as possible. If you see a DOT in the center.then do this. NO, I Am NOT CRAZY!

Take a pin or toohhpick, put it in the glue, and put a minisclle drop on that dot! Let sit for at least 24 hours. Now wash carefully in slowly flowing water.begin sanding with 600 grit "Wet orDry" sandpaper.Do NOT use Chinese paper. Use good old American Stuff here. (3-M or better) The Chinese paper will break apart in sharp adges(You don't want that!)

Now using a circular gentle motion, sand till the blemish is gone. Continue with successivly finer grit until you hit 2000! Stop! You should have a perfectly smooth surface now. Now use Your favorite polishing compoind. First, Before I do, I use Pepsodent ToothPASTE(The gel don't work worth a darned).

You should be getting a nice clear Windshield. When you cannot see that spot anymore then polish the whole windshield, then, install or re-install the windshield with Testors "Windowmaker" or Aleens "Sticky" white Glue.  Problem solved!
