for smaller scales,say 1:8 or smaller, I use metallic black.

      I haven't used that paint method since my hippie van in the 70s. I have been using Decals My son sent me. He got them from ScaleMotorsports!

do you have a particular procedure or process for painting models to simulate Carbon Fibre. I've seen a few YouTubers do that but I was hoping to get other opinions. I've seen where some folks use a nylon stocking and cover the model with it and then paint over it, but I was just curious how other folks approach this technique
