Gundam Marker (water-based)
Posted by albert_sy2 on Sunday, May 16, 2004 9:30 AM
Just got a tip from a modeler friend about how you can use a water-based Gundam Marker for panel lines. Just draw on the panel line, and wipe the excess with a wet q-tip. (Heck, even a dry finger will do nicely!) Perfectly filled-in panel line! Fast and easy! Does anyone here use this pen?

I use that pen and find it ok for making panel lines for larger scales. However for 1/72 scale it's a little thick so I use e very sharp graphite pencil or a fine tip technical pen.

i tried graphite pencil but it's still too thick for my panel lines... so what i do nowadays is just use paint+water+detergent. i also use chalk pastel+water+detergent for the larger panel line. i'm currently making a hasegawa 1/72 f-16 and try the gundam marker on it...

;-P

thanks for the reply!
