Group Sculpt anyone..?
Posted by djmodels1999 on Wednesday, May 19, 2004 4:58 AM
The idea is to experiment/check/compare notes on various modeling putties/compounds that we use for sculpting things... Magic Sculpt, Milliput, Super Sculpey, Fimo,..., you name it..!

All subjects welcome, including of course figures & dinos, but it (the sculpted bit) needs to be the focus of the 'Group Sculpt', so not just a couple of tarps and bags at the back of a truck...! Figure, vehicle conversions are allowed provided the Sculpting part do change significantly the nature of the base object...

Anyone interested..?

Count me in !!!

I'll be working with Super Sculpey...have wanted to do this for some time in 200mm scale...not 100% sure of the subject matter yet though, but it more than likely be WW2.

Guess I could try it out sign me up. Been wanting to experiment with sculpey and the other stuff for a while now. Hope you dont mind sci fi fantasy cause that's probably what it will end up looking like no matter what the subject started out as!

cplchilly, SF is absolutely welcome in here! Still debating on a start date, because Jack seems to be ready to go, while I'm not just yet!

Didn't mean to rush anyone. I'm just posting my everday sculpting. I'm hoping to help some of the novices with how to start a figure project.
