Scale conversion
Posted by ADleitch on Thursday, April 10, 2003 9:52 PM
I can't for the life of me remember the formula for converting measurments from one scale to another i.e 1/100 to 1/350. I have some very good plans coming from France and need to convert measurements to 1/350.
Can anyone help?

Thanks

To change from 1/100 to 1/350 for example:

If something in 1/100 scale is 5 inches... to find out how long it would be in 1/350..

5 X 100/350 = new dimension of the model.

Is that what you mean?
