Decals
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, June 21, 2004 9:03 AM
Hello everyone.
I'm of a "rookie" in scale modeling, so here's my problem.
When i trie to put decals on the models for a few days they stay in place and look great, but after a while they start to peel from the models.
What can i do to keep them in place?

Thanks.

Have you tried decal setting solution from microscale, it starts to desolve the backing of the decal and dries like it's painted on, Micro - sol as it's called I think is widely available.

Oh and welcome to the forum hope we can all help !!!!!

try some white glue thinned with water in the peeling areas of your decal.....it will dry clear and no more peeling

first test your glue to make sure it will dry clear.......it works for me

Ice_man.

You also might try using a top coat after decaling. Future if you want it glossy or dullcoat if not. Also, has the surface you are applying the decals been prepared to receive them?
