                        Thanks, Rick. That's good to know. Lighter fluid is strange stuff. Some things that you think it will affect it doesn't, and some that it should leave alone it will eat up.

                        Lighter fluid will work & I've never had it craze the clear plastic, but be careful cause it will also remove enamel paint. Doesn't seem to affect Future, so it might not affect acrylic paints, but I've never tried it.

                        Ditto for lighter fluid. I know it will remove the glue but I'm not sure what it will do to clear plastic so I didn't mention it.

                        Goo Gon works really great if you have access to it.

                        For years one of the recommended methods of removing tape residue from a model was to stick it in the freezer portion of your fridge overnight. Then remove it the next day and wiping the area with a soft cloth. In theory the residue would pop right off.

                        masking adhesive removal

                        Hi, I just mask and paint the canopy of the Finemold tie fighter. After painting and the removal of the kits supplied mask, I've noticed that some of the masking adhesivestick on the future'd dip canopy. Does anyone have a tip on how to take the adhesive of? The adhesive that adhere to the canopy is like a speck of bigger grain of dust. Thanks for any tip.
