You're Welcome ! It's a stormy day here in Southeast Michigan. Our July 4th cookout later this afternoon is in serious danger of becoming a cookin.

Thanks for the help!

We survived yesterday's T-storms just fine. They actually skirted us for the most part. But today is an even greater chance. But the weather is just magnificent. 60's and 70's with big puffs billowing away in the big blue.

Celluclay is used extensively by model railroaders for doing scenic work, so it should work just fine for diorama work. It's a little messy to apply but can be sculpted as it sets & takes paint well. Should be available at most Hobby Shops that carry model railroad supplies or you could try Walthers.

I buy a lot of stuff like that from Texas Art Supply ( www.texasart.com ), but that's because I get to go to the store and look around. They do mail order, and they generally have pretty good prices, though I'm not sure about shipping.

I've used Celluclay before, and if I remember correctly, it worked pretty well. More importantly for me, I found it to be very easy to use, to the extent that it made up for other shortcomings of the product. And you get a fair amount of it pretty cheap.

I hope you make it through the storm okay -- today is the first day we haven't had any real rain in about ten days, so I feel for you.

Has anyone heard of the diorama product called Celluclay? If so, do you know of a link to someone that has the stuff. And also, if you have an opinion on the stuff for building a land surface for a diorama, I'd like to hear it.

Big time T-storms building as I speak here in Powder River country Wyoming, so I wil no doubt have to shut everything down for a good while. So, no rush, I'll probably be back tomorrow!

Thanks;
Dave
