Make sure you take note of the colors and percentages you use to mix the color you want, in case you need more later when the model is finished. I learned this one the hard way.

Experimentation is the key. Keep playing with the mixtures until it looks right to you. You should practice on some spare resin plastic such as some pieces of sprue. Don't use paper or anything else; your results will be different once you get the mixture on your model. Be sure to let the paint dry before you judge the tone that you want.

please help me get the right mix for rust and beige for this amt/ertl model. problem is, i can only find tamiya color paints available to me but i do not know which colors and percentage to mix to give the right rust and beige colors specified in the ertl kit.
