My personal favorite for use with PE is a slow-curing CA called IC-GEL. I like it because there's less of a rush when working with it and it's very easy to control. I put a little dot where the PE will go (or on the PE itself) with a tooth pick and then can take my time making sure the part goes just where I want it.

Enjoy your modeling...

Hi Kwags, CA is strong stuff so you just need a small drop each at certain points and intervals, even if it's a large PE part that you're attaching. Just make sure that you don't have dirt, grease or even paint at the points you're putting glue on. If it's the first two "contaminants", you know the CA may not stick to the surface. If it's paint, your paint job may be literally ripped if the PE part gets knocked over, although usually only the paint at the contact point gets taken off (but I've seen worse happen).

Thanks! I kinda figured that I would need to use super glue. Do I need to spread the glue over the entire area that I'm covering, or just a few daps here and there be sufficient?

Hi kwags!Sign - Welcome [#welcome]Welcome to the forum!

Whenever I'm using PE parts, I glue them with a CA glue like ZAP or Krazy Glue. Be careful with this stuff as you can get your fingers stuck! My other advice would be to paint your floor black so that when that really small part goes flying off, you'll have half a chance at finding it!Big Smile [:D]

I building a tiger and bought the Eduard zimmerit for the kit. My biggest question is what is the best glue to use for it? Any other tips and/or suggestions on photo-etched parts?

Thanks
