The guy decided to not trade me this compressor and is selling it on Ebay. If anyone wants a good deal on a quiet compressor check it out on Ebay.

Thanks Naplak.

It is a Scorpion 1.

They run $129 new so that is a pretty good trade for an airbrush worth $40-50. Approve [^]

I have seen it on Dixie Art's web site also but I don't know if it's anything more than a glorified Paasche D-500 which I consider barely passable for a compressor. Big Smile [:D]

Is it the Scorpion I or the II?

Here's an info page about them: http://www.dixieart.com/Silentaire_Scorpion_Compressors.html

But I have heard good things about them. Someone in a local club has one, but I can't remember who. He has the II.

Do any of you own one of these compressors?

I was wondering what you thought of them as I have an opportunity to trade an airbrush for one.

Thanks

Mike
