Does anyone have knowledge on how to put together Tom's Modelworks
1/28 th scale German Machineguns ( Spandau and Parabellum)? Having
a bit of trouble with what gets backing and the very small parts. The instructions
are less than basic

Greetings!
I agree with you on the basic instructions...don't really know what part number is what.
I have the same set that I'm planning on using on the Revell 1/28 Dr1.
My plan is to scrap off the molded on detail and then I'll have a "block" to work with.
Don't know if that helps.

Thanks for you quick answer, but this is my first attempt with PE and not much
of the guns are any good. I just hope I can muddle through without messing
them up too bad. Thanks

Hey I forgot to mention one thing: Go to Eduard.com and look up their PE Spandau sets.
You can look at the instructions online(with Adobe Acrobat) and it might give you an idea on the placement of the parts. Sorry i forgot to add this in!

Recently used the Tom's gun set. you need to use a piece of plastic stock for the main gun body and for the parts on each side as well as the spacers for the charging handles and the rear of the gun cooling jacket. Hope this helps?? They do look great when done though!!
