After using it I wipe the opening area with a paper towel and it seems to help a lot.
Wiping it with a paper towel with some fingernail polish remover on it works even better. I also squeeze the bottle and release it which sucks a lot of the CA back down into the bottle clearing the opening somewhat.

Wisdom is the right use of knowledge. To know is not to be wise. Many men know a great deal, and are all the greater fools for it. There is no fool so great a fool as a knowing fool. But to know how to use knowledge is to have wisdom. " Charles Spurgeon

Hooker06, your old man is doing a wise thing: putting the CA in the fridge slows down clogging/drying, and I can attest to that. My small bottle of CA is still fresh after months of use. It seems that the cold retards the drying reaction in CA glues. I would advise the same to you, it works! Hope this helps.

CA Woes

I'm at wits end here......Can someone recommend any tips on slowing the clogging process on my CA bottles? I'm constantly cleaning the suckers, only to have them clog up on me 2 uses later. As soon as i'm done with using it, i cap it and try to clean any CA from the surrounding area before i do to prevent further clogging.

I'm a realist and i know CA is a glue, and glues clog, but there's gotta be some way to slow the process. I'm using both gap-filling and super-thin CA.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

p.s. - My old man puts his CA in the fridge, but i never bothered to ask him why. Anyone else do this? If so, what for?
