ever had tweezers take some paint off a part?

yea i was using gaffa tape (cloth tape) but i wasnt to happy with the results... using insulation is much better i feel...

Great idea! What I have now is masking tape rolled around my tweezer tips, so it'll be a good time to try on insulation or shrinkable tubing.

cool! thanks! I hadn't thought of that but may try it... should help keep from digging into them if they are hard to hold on to with the tweezers too...

well i have while ive been imstalling a piece with tweezers....it was just a small scratch coz of the hard edges on the tweezers...
well last night i had this idea.... i got some insulation from some wire, maybe about 3-5mm in diameter, pulled the wire out and then stretched the insulation over the tweezer tips... a hairdryer could come in handy here, but i did it late at night... and wallah, u have a pair of tweezers which still has all the control of before, with some added TLC :)

hey i just had the thought of ruffing up the wire with sandpaper to give more grip, but i think its fine how it is....
