Accidental SS blurred edge camo
Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, May 11, 2003 11:20 PM
After spending many hours perfecting my SS pea patern camo, I was furious when I spilled field gray (Tamiya XF-65) paing on one of the soldiers. After wiping off as much paint as possible, I let it dry, expecting the worst. When I looked at the result, I was amazed at how good the camo looked. After comparing it to pictures of repo blurred edge camo, I was shocked at how well the accident reproduced the blurred edge effect. If you have some spare figs, or are just desperate for a way to get that blurred edge look, maybe this could be the technique you're looking for.
